1.EX-IMF, World Bank bosses ask Malaysia to drop Anwar sodomy charge

Interesting. Here we have 3 former 'Monetary' heads telling Malaysia to drop the charges againts DSAI. These 3 persons are - former Canadian prime minister Paul Martin, ex-World Bank chief James Wolfensohn, Michel Camdessus, the former head of the International Monetary Fund. Back in 97-98 financial crisis, the PM then, Tun Dr. Mahathir was fighting a lone battle to save Malaysia from these so called ' Penyangak ' trying to take control and ravage the country.

And here we have 3 ex bosses from the very organization we were trying to defend ourselfs againts coming in defence of the ' Honourable Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim '. I wonder.

The key word here, Telling Malaysia To Drop! Wow!

2.Respect Malaysia's sovereignty

On Thursday, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged Malaysia to be transparent and follow the rule of law in dealing with the sodomy accusation against Anwar.

Rejecting Malaysia’s claim that the Anwar case was an internal affair, she also said the United States would continue to speak about cases that it “think need to be thought about in terms of the political circumstances”

Since when did the U.S has the right to tell other nations how to conduct it judiciary affairs? Aren't they hypocrites? While they ignore the mistreatment and attrocities towards the Palestinians by the Zionist Israel , they have the cheeks to tell other's what to do. I for once would like our ' Honourable Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim ' to stand trial and found either innocent or guilty. It will be conducted under Malaysian Rule of Law. If he could be so bold to boast of his sentence overturned and after that claimed that there was a conspiracy to oust him after the judgement, then why should he be afraid now? Surely it would be the same courts that let him out of jail will be trying him. Why does the U.S is so eager wants to involve itself in Malaysian internal affairs? What is so special about Anwar? One seems to ponder on the idea that there is a special relationship between Anwar and the world's sole Superpower!

An oath of a politician. 'We solemnly swear that we shall protect the nation, it's interest and it's citizens from Foreign Threats and Domestic'. To do otherwise is considered an act of TREASON!


3.Terengganu's Mercedes Benzes

This move to buy these highly cost continental cars must be the most stupidest move that any MB has ever done in the history of Malaysia! In a time of desperate need, high cost of living, the poor getting poorer, they went on a shopping spree! To further aggravate the situation, the reason given is totally ridiculous. How could you ever justify the Benz is cheaper to maintain than the Perdana? Benz parts are imported while Perdana parts are local. It just doesn't make any sense.

The average maintenance cost for each Perdana car sent by the Terengganu Government was only RM542 per year, said Proton Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir.

Proton has come in defence of their products. It sounds reasonable. The very notion that our politicians does not support the National car is very saddening. Even more saddening is the cost of purchase of the Benz.

Terengganu can keep its 14 Mercedes Benzes bought for RM3.43mil recently but they can only be used for foreign dignitaries.

That was the decision reached by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said.

The key word here is, They can keep and RM3.43mil spent! No matter what excuse given, the damage is done!

Former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh is contemplating legal action against the Terengganu government for putting him in a bad light over the Proton Perdana V6 Executive controversy.
