War Will Never End in Victory - U.S Military Commanders

With the war in Afghanistan increasingly retaking its role as the emphasis of America’s ongoing foreign policy struggles, The war againts terror and the hunt for Osama bin Laden, Admiral Mullen, head of U.S CENTCOM, reported to the U.S House Armed Services Committee that he does not believe the United States is winning that war.

With the war in Afghanistan spilling into Pakistan, the struggle is getting uglier. The war in Afghanistan will morph into a regional conflict with no end with more death and destruction. The U.S desperate for a victory on the war on terror, is launching unilateral attacks on Pakistani soil which could destabalized the nation.

Where else in Iraq, exactly one year after General David Petraeus proclaimed the military goals of the so called 'surge' are met, now he paints a far gloomier picture of the transient nature of the war’s much ballyhooed 'progress'. In fact, in the general’s opinion, the United States still faces a 'long struggle' in Iraq and he doesn’t expect that he’ll ever be able to use the word victory to describe what happens there.

Victory in Iraq for the U.S is no where in sight. Iraq is plaque with killings, murders, political wrangling and other problems. The American 'colony' is in total chaos. Looks like the Americans are preparing to cut and run under the pretext of fighting the war in Afghanistan. And now we can see Afghanistan turning into a horrific second Iraq.
