Puck Shots

1. Indians not getting loans in Malaysia
A business lobby of Malaysian Indians has claimed that the government financing agency Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) has not given loans to poor Indians.

Lately, all this racist claims has been heard more frequently.

2. Honour the ICJ's Ruling on Pulau Batu Puteh
Singapore and Malaysia have reiterated their commitment to honour and abide by the International Court of Justice’s judgment on Pulau Batu Puteh, Middle Rocks and South Ledge.

Yeah, Singapore got a 'Pulau' and Malaysia got 'Batu'. Sounds fair doesn't it? Oh i forgot... It's a Win Win situation!

3. Defectors or Traitors?
Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim says he is seeking to win over 30 defectors from the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition to form a new government by his self-imposed deadline of September 16. Anwar said his opposition alliance would not use money or blackmail to woo defectors.

He claimed, “The MPs can see the trend among the people who are demanding change and that’s why they are keen to support a party that is fair to all races.”

Here we have Anwar calling those 30 MPs as defectors. The thruth is, defectors are simply traitors. No money? Then why would one MP from Sabah claimed he was offered a bribe that is so huge that he plus 3 of his future generations would live in a live of luxury?

Demanding change? What change? People? Who are these 'people'? If 'people' wants 'change', they would have booted out the BN government. I guess we would never know who these 'people' are and what 'change' they would like since the formation of the New Government is done without a General Election. It's going to be a 'Back Door Government'.

4. Government Crackdown on Bloggers
Vocal political bloggers and commentators are bracing for a government crackdown. The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission earlier this week ordered all 19 of the country's Internet service providers to block the controversial political portal Malaysia Today.

Wait a minute. Just because one website was blocked, it doesn't mean the government will be going on a witch hunt for other political bloggers which are critical of the government. The website Malaysia Today own by Raja Petra was ordered to be blocked because it was full of inflamatory comments and 'some' baseless accusations. Raja Petra deliberately continue to fan the flames of anti-government sentimens.

For me, the government should had done it earlier and arrested and have him charged under the Seditious Act.
