Israelis wanted 'Bunker-buster' bombs to attack Iran. U.S denied them.

About a month ago, it is reported that the U.S administration had turned down an Israeli request for certain security items that could upgrade Israel's capability to attack Iran. The U.S denied the Israelis request for additional security aid.

The security aid package which the U.S had refused to give Israel for the past few months out of concern that Israel would use it to attack nuclear facilities in Iran included a large number of 'bunker-buster' bombs, permission to use an air corridor to Iran, an advanced technological system and refueling planes.

Bunker-buster GBU-28 bombs, which weigh 2.2 tons each, can penetrate six meters of reinforced concrete, was the core of the Israelis request. In 2005, the U.S said it was supplying these bombs to Israel. In August 2006, it is reported that the U.S had expedited the dispatch of additional bombs at the height of the Second Lebanon War. Israel appears to have asked for a relatively large number of additional bunker-busters, obviously to attack Iran and was turned down.

Air-space authorization, refueling planes, advanced technological systems, all was denied by the U.S. The U.S appears to be trying to stop Israel from attacking Iran. A Iranian war will further damage the U.S credibility and will bring the entire middle-east into armed conflict. All U.S efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan will be destroyed.
