Malay Unity

Recently, there have been much talk regarding Malay unity. Then the other non-Malays both in the Government and opposition, mentioned the Government should focus on "Malaysian unity" and not just Malay unity. The non-Malays are not only missing the point, they are also misguided on the issue.

Lim Kit Siang went further by saying even in the BN component parties (Gerakan) there were talks of pulling out, and hence, isn't it more vital for the Government to talk of "Malaysian unity".

What's the big fuss? Obviously he is talking about Malay politics. We, the Malays are talking about Malay Unity simply because we see that the malay race is being divided into different political movement with different agendas and the existence of moral decay in the Malay community. The need to find common ground and then unite to tackle this issues is the objective. It is a Malay affair. Plain and simple.

The Malays sees that social problems are on the rise. Rampant disregard for decency, fall of islamic values and traditional Malay values, moral decay, is the core objective for the Malays to unite and solve these problem. Not just politically.

To me, MALAY UNITY and MALAYSIAN UNITY is totally a different subject. One is for the survival of race and it's values and the other is about National prosperity. Simple isn't it?
