Puck Shots at Permatang Pauh

There have been lots of information travelling back and fourth from Permatang Pauh. Some are merely hearsay and some are authentic. Lets see whats happening there.

1. Police detained 10 men in Permatang Pauh Friday for various offences. Apparently there was a fight. (Numskulls)

2. Police also detained two men, believed to be the masterminds of certain groups which had been identified in an attempt to scare voters from going out to exercise their rights. (Serve them right!)

3. People are circulating information that there will be groups out to scare voters from coming out to vote. There are also talks that Barisan Nasional (BN) voters would face difficulties in going to the polling centres because there would be obstructions and obstacles and so on. (Not to be bias but the presence of PKR supporters said to number 20,000 (?) makes you wonder regarding this information and not to mentioned they have been behaving like a bunch of hooligans)

4. Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak Saturday reminded voters in Permatang Pauh not to be hoodwinked by Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim's promises as he was willing to validate anything to achieve his ambition of becoming prime minister. (Yeah.. Anwar (Become PM at all cost) Ibrahim)

5. Dato' Seri Najib also claimed that Anwar gave shares to certain individuals to win their support. (If this is true, what a hypocrite! Walk the talk eh?. Sorry i'm no fan of Anwar)

6. Nine supporters of the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf), including two women, were detained for holding an illegal gathering. (Hindraf again? I thought they have vanished! And no wonder there have been reports of hooligans roaming around there. Sorry. I'm no racist but i disagree with Hindraf's actions)

7. Prime Minister Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who was in the area, dropped by at the Karumariammah Temple, Seberang Jaya and spoke to the crowd for about five minutes after receiving a memorandum handed by a Hindraf representative. (Geez.. the Populist in action as always!)

8. Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim who was initially fully confident of winning the Permatang Pauh seat, appeared to be increasingly worried about the eventual result as the by-election approaches. (Well, well. It seems the Honourable Dato' Seri Anwar has realized the atmosphere on the ground. The situation has change. People knows who he was and who he is now)

9. Anwar kept reminding his supporters not to be too confident but be extra careful in their efforts to win the by-election for PKR. He appeal to the people of Permatang Pauh to give their votes to him so that he can fulfil his promise to take care of the residents of Permatang Pauh. (Why keep on reminding when you have been trash talking all over the country that an assured victory was in hand? Fulfil his promise to take care of residents of Permatang Pauh? Sure? Or is it fulfilling his ambitions to become Prime Minister at all cost? He's actually worried!)

10. Prime Minister Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has given the assurance that he will look into the 18-point memorandum submitted to him by the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf). Hindraf, called for the release of over 100 Indians currently detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA). (Releasing those irresponsible people who claimed that there had been an ethnic cleansing of Indians in Malaysia? Well, knowing PL always acted like a Populist, no telling what he might do.)

To tell ya all the truth, i'm kinda glad that things has somewhat change. I mean on the ground there. I know DSAI is worried. He gathered his supporters and made a massive show of force there. But mostly all of his supporters there are not even a 'Permatang Pauh' resident. Not even the surrounding areas as well.

Like i said, things has somewhat change. Why eh? Whatever it is, let the Permatang Pauh residents decide who they want as representitive.
